Job Title: Staff Pharmacist

Overview:

As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be an integral part of the healthcare team, responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications in patient care. This role combines clinical expertise with exceptional customer service, as you interact with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical services. Whether dispensing medications, counseling patients on proper medication use, or collaborating with healthcare professionals, your contributions as a Staff Pharmacist will be essential in promoting optimal patient outcomes and medication safety.

• Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing your Pharmacy Technician support staff

• Oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations, including:

  • Patient Safety

  • Professional Practice and Regulatory Compliance

  • Quality Assurance and Workflow Management

  • Customer Service and Personnel Management

  • Inventory Control and Financial Profitability

  • Loss Prevention

A key part of this role is designing and managing patient-care programs to keep customers healthy. You'll lead solutions that drive growth, inspire your team, and differentiate CVS from competitors by:

• Motivating, developing, and deploying your support staff's strengths
• Identifying and implementing business opportunities to improve performance

• Active pharmacy license in your state of employment
• Immunization certification (e.g., through APhA or equivalent)
• Not listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List
• No pending felony charges or convictions involving controlled substances

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree

• Anticipated Weekly Hours: 40
• Time Type: Full-time
• Actual offer depends on experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
• Eligible for CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to base pay
